An animator will visit for about an hour with an assortment of small mammals, birds, amphibians and reptiles. Usually this includes a ferret, chinchilla, hedgehog, rabbit, parrot, salamander, tree frog, lizard and snake.

All of the children can touch the animals! We answer questions and discuss many interesting facts about each creature. We introduce the children to the large decisions involved with becoming a pet guardian. All too often, companion animals are abandoned when our lives become hectic.

We will try to feed some of the animals in front of the audience. These animals have some interesting diets and the children will have fun watching a ferret, parrot and lizard receive a treat!

You will have fun taking photos of the children’s faces as they light up with delight. Children rarely have the opportunity to interact so closely with an assortment of tame animals. This experience will not be soon forgotten.
